about

Originally written in 2009, this song was all about driving late at night and the internal monologue that comes with it, something that I'm all too familiar with as a touring artist based in Canada.

lyrics

Everything's framed
Everything's raising questions
About the things we don't want to know

Everything's black
Even my face that's staring
Back at my reflection as I watch...

The silhouettes pass
As do the lights
That shine through glass
As I stare looking back
x2

I guess that I'm tired,
Suppose that I've tried my best so far
But it's still not good enough

The day has expired,
A bright star it casts down enough to
Help me on my way as I watch...

The silhouettes pass
As do the lights
That shine through glass
As I stare looking back
x2

Everything's framed,
Everything's raising questions
About the things we don't want to know

Everything's black
Even my face that's staring
Back at my reflection as I watch...

The silhouettes pass
As do the lights
That shine through glass
As I stare looking back
x2
