I Need You 05:14
Every time you left I thought that you could grow I thought we'd grow But you can't It's just not what you wanted Anytime you want me you can call me up and say: I need you Every time you left I thought that you could grow I thought we'd grow Every time I left I thought that you would know I thought you'd know You never did It's all I ever wanted Anytime you want me you just call me up and say: I need you I need you too Thought that you could grow I thought you'd grow Thought that you would know I thought you'd know Thought that you could grow I thought you'd grow Anytime you want me you just call me up and say: I need you I need you too

Fix 03:24
If you Should choose To go I'd want to know If I, Decide To go I'll let you know Our lives Take time Hold on Rewind Stubborn Feelings Won't stop Me from leaving You Can't Fix it Every time Let me go... Without Either We'll fall through And find another Who can Blame you? And always Stay true I can't let go... You Can't Fix it Every time
3.
Lapse 04:30
When I wake up in the morning Take a shower every day Food is waiting at the table I can't wait to get away So when I go to bed at night I might as well not sleep at all Close my eyes Now I'm in a different place Trying to make it through the day Thinking out loud is causing problems I think I'm wearing myself thin So when I go to bed at night I might as well not sleep at all I'm so tired of being undermined There's no reason or a rhyme Now I'm back in bed again And I don't know how long it's been Looking up at the clock (don't want to go) But here we go again I'm so tired of being undermined There's no reason or a rhyme I'll take time from this, and I'll make time for me I only take things when they're free
4.
Dead 03:34
Dead You've been dead a long time.
5.
The Knife 04:55
I've got a message to deliver Before my time has come and gone Could this reify you? Could this reify you? Your words are just a few and actions even fewer How would they define you? How would they define you? If I could leave a mark Something set in stone Can you bring me a knife? For the bones... Your fears are all against you But persevere some more Do they petrify you? Do they petrify you? You want to make a difference But you're up against the world Will they nullify you? Will they nullify you? If I could leave a mark Something set in stone Can you bring me a knife? For the bones... Your body's aging fast Haunted by an unrewarding past Why would they deny you? Why would they deny you? When you have been forgotten And no one knows your name Who would recognize you? Who would recognize you? When you are under ground No record of the sounds you made Would they identify you? Would they identify you? They will identify you They will identify you They have identified you By your bones....
6.
Never (Fade) 03:27
So much more to know Than what you've learned Places left to go That you've never seen Dreams don't die alone They just fade away Don't let it fade away Don't give it away You'll never give up
7.
You might regret the choice you've made But you'll find strength in one you make You wait for time to talk and tell Your limbs collapse upon themselves How come no bones? You can no longer stand up straight For now you'll sit around and wait Just one more person killing time Whatever happened to your spine? How come no bones? Lessons are hard to learn We've all taken our turns You used to stand so tall Now you don't want it all This is more than it seems You gave up all your dreams You wanted part of mine What happened to your spine

Idea 04:03
9.
Corners 03:54
In a corner, in the dark Fear is drumming in my heart Place my hands on either wall Only stumble, but never fall Still I stand So I can sing...Na, na, na, na, na In a house with no lights on All my friends have come and gone Blank expression on my face No one knows I'm in this place Still I stand So I can sing...Na, na, na, na, na In a world so lonely In a world so dark Still I stand Then we'll sing...Na, na, na, na, na (So we can sing it again)
10.
You cannot keep me You cannot keep me From what I want most When life opens a door It closes a window
11.
You 04:28
It's been so long that you've been lonely But you've been strong to go alone... Do you like the echoes? Do you like the slams? Try to find who you were, not what I am... But you can't bring yourself to...no. Someone left the door open...and I think it was you... The heart The soul The truth Are for life For love And for you The wind outside blows the leaves A perfect picture - if you close the shutter But you can't bring yourself to...no. Someone left the door open...and I think it was you... The heart The soul The truth Are for life For love And for you
12.
Walk 03:05
So if I walk on From all those things that I don't want anymore Would you love me? Or is your heart beat sore? I don't have to do anything When you walk by You wipe away the tears from your eyes We had beautiful memories I don't have to do anything But I would do it for you If we walked back Removing time and pride and all that was If I apologized on stage would you let it go? I didn't think so... I don't have to do anything But I would do it for you
13.
Descanso 02:57
14.
Sleep 06:41
The floor is wearing thin Pacing quite impatiently Where should I begin? The concept has become me... It keeps me up at night Questioning my insides Food for thought? I can't think of food right now I just wish that I could sleep.... Please don't dream, I need your ears to hear me You'll never want to come back home Please don't scheme; you'll hurt the others In ways that you'd never know If I choose the door What will I turn my back towards? If I choose the window I don't want to know... Please don't dream, I need your ears to hear me You'll never want to come back home Please don't scheme; you'll hurt the others In ways that you'd never know

about

Watch the album unfold, here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wgQtf9-CkI

Windows and Doors is an album about choice and ambition. While some settle for the easily attainable [doors], De Roover makes it his mission to turn his idealistic dreams and goals [windows] into a reality. He proves this throughout the album, having invited talented performers to join him in the studio, self-producing 14 tracks that explore the binary relationship between choosing windows or doors.

Musically, the album covers many genres, including rock, pop and folk, but also experimenting with conventional music by incorporating dance, electronic, a capella and even punk and instrumental hip hop into the mix. Continuing with the theme of the album, the songs fit into either traditional, more accessible structures, or imaginative and experimental forms. No matter what audience, every listener will find fulfillment in the variety of this album.

However, Windows and Doors doesnt stop with the audio disc, as it is accompanied by a feature length DVD filled with live performances, each in their own unique locations, concert footage, a making of the album featurette and 2 music videos. Combine both discs in a collector's edition digipak that folds out to build a 3-dimensional house, the dichotomous concept of Windows and Doors becomes complete, through music and film, studio sessions and live recordings.
